Terms of use

Last updated 4 November 2026

By using Lebanon Cinema you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Information on the site

We work to keep showtimes and listings accurate, but they can change without notice. Check with the cinema before you go. We can’t promise the site is free of mistakes.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for what happens through your account. Give accurate details. We may suspend accounts that misuse the site.

What you post

You keep the rights to what you write (reviews, directory profiles, job posts) and give us a non-exclusive licence to show it on the site while it is published. Don’t post anything abusive, misleading, unlawful or that infringes someone else’s rights, and no job posts that ask applicants for money. Editors check profiles and job posts before they appear and may refuse, hide or remove anything.

Directory and jobs board

We display what members publish. We don’t guarantee it, and we are not a party to any arrangement between members. Be careful before sharing personal details or paying anyone.

Watching and renting films

  • Films on the site are licensed from rights holders for a limited time and may be withdrawn when the licence ends.
  • A rental gives you the right to watch for yourself during the stated rental period (48 hours unless the film says otherwise). You may not copy, share or rebroadcast the film.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. If you can’t watch because of a fault on our side, Contact us and we will put it right or refund you.

Acceptable use

Don’t try to break into or disrupt the site, scrape it heavily, or get around the technical limits on paid films.

Content and copyright

The site’s text and design belong to Lebanon Cinema. Posters, stills and trailers belong to their owners and are shown to identify the films. If you believe something infringes your rights, Contact us and we will look at it promptly.

Limits on our liability

The site is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using it, including relying on a showtime.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. They are governed by Lebanese law. For how we handle your data, see the Privacy policy page.
